Kingdom Bound 09 - First FULL day

Well today was the first full day of Kingdom Bound 2009. The park was packed and lines were not short but about an 5 min wait for each except rollercoasters. Alot of extra staff is on duty. For example there is someone standing at each of the rollercoaster lines. Prices are GOOD for this event and it is alot of fun. KB runs till Augest 5th 2009.

Fathers Day,Bring a Friend Free and Car Show - 6/21/09

We were only there for 2 hours and it was packed due to that fact of the Fathers Day Car Show and Bring a Friend Free Day! The weather was overcasted and all lines took about 10 mins waiting time. FULL waterpark is Open! Twister was running and its the 1st time I seen that.

Bring A Friend FREE Day -- 5/24/09

Today the Weather was in the high 70s and the park was packed. We arrived at the park around 12:00 and we headed in. We had Our family and Another Family So there was 8 people in our group! All rides were working and the waterpark was Open. We seen Survivor, Live. It was only 20 mins long. Not worth seeing.

All the NEW shows have started. Lazerblast was the BEST its been in years!

Opening Day -- 5/9/09

Well the weather wasnt the greatest today. We arrived at the park around 11:30am and went to get our season passes activated. We waited for an Hour and a half.It started raining hard as we enter the gates. So we headed for the nearest store.After it stop raing we want on rides and there were on and Off Rain all day! Ravens Concert was OK we only seen about 15 mins of it. You can get a Darien Lake Survinior Bottle for $8.50 this year! Its good all Season for $1.00 Drinks. Food did go up some.

The Staff was friendly and most rides were working. Ride of Steel was an hour wait because they only had one train running. Motocoaster was NOT working today! New Shows Start May 23rd!

Ride Of Steel--Was Working with one train for Most of the Day except when the red train got stuck at the bottom of the 1st Drop due to lost of power..Closed rest of Day After that.
